Complete Muster Early
Follow your cruise line’s muster instructions and complete every required step within the stated timeframe. Locate your assigned assembly station and ask the crew if anything is unclear. Once your safety requirements are handled, you can settle in and enjoy the ship.
Confirm Plans & Reservations
Review your dining, entertainment, spa, and activity plans in the cruise line’s app or daily schedule. Confirm times and locations, look for any remaining reservations you want to make, and ask about changes early. Leave room for downtime rather than filling every hour.
Find Your Cabin & Essentials
Check when staterooms are ready before heading to your cabin. Once you have access, get familiar with the space and introduce yourself to your cabin steward when available. Keep medications, valuables, chargers, and anything needed before luggage arrives in your carry-on.
Explore Without Rushing
Start with the places you will use most: dining venues, elevators, guest services, and a favorite outdoor deck. Explore one area at a time and use the deck plans to get your bearings. Choose your sailaway spot, enjoy the atmosphere, and save some discoveries for sea days.
