Q: What is The Royal Caribbean Group’s Enhanced and Expanded Cruise with Confidence policy?

A: As of May 06, 2020, The Royal Caribbean Group has enhanced and expanded the Cruise with Confidence policy to give guests even more peace of mind. The new policy allows guest that booked on or before April 30, 2021, to cancel any cruise departing on or before April 30, 2022, up to 48 Hours before embarkation and receive a Future Cruise Credit.

The credit can be used towards any cruise that set sails through September 30, 2022


Q: Do ALL Sailings Qualify for “Cruise with Confidence” ?

A: Cruise with Confidence covers cruises booked on or before April 30, 2021, that set sail on or before April 30, 2022


Q: How long will Guest have to Redeem Future Cruise Credits?

A: Cruise with Confidence Future Cruise Credits will EXPIRE April 30, 2022. Guests MUST redeem their FCC for a voyage that departs on or before September 30, 2022


Q: How do Guest Cancel or Move their Cruise?

A: If guest are booked with MiA’s World Of Travel or any another Agency, please contact your Travel Advisor for assistance with your cancellation. If guest have booked directly with Royal, the Royal Vacation Planner will be your point of contact


Q: What happens if there’s a Difference in Cruise Fare BETWEEN the Future Cruise Credit a guest receives and Cruise that a guest is wanting to book?

A: If the Cruise Fare on the new booking EXCEEDS the FCC’s Value, the guest will have to PAY the difference. Alternatively, if the new Cruise Fare is lower than the FCC’s Value, a new FCC will be issued for the REMAINING BALANCE


Q: Are Future Cruise Credits Interchangeable between Royal Caribbean’s Family of Brands?

A: No, Guests will have to apply for their Future Cruise Credit to a FCC onboard a Royal Caribbean vessel


Q: Do standard Final Payment timelines still apply during this timeframe?

A: Yes, full payment IS still required at 75 days for sailings of 1 - 4 nights in length and 90 days for sailings 5+ nights in length


Q: How are NON - REFUNDABLE Deposits Bookings Impacted by this Policy Update?

A: NON - REFUNDABLE deposits that were booked on or before APRIL 30, 2021 and are sailing on or before April 30, 2022 are eligible for the Cruise With Confidence Policy and follows the same guideline. Prior to the Final Payment deadline, guests with a NON - REFUNDABLE Deposit booking that wish to change to a different ship or sail date can do so with NO FEE assessed prior to April 30, 2021
