Q: What if Guest Used a Future Cruise Credit to Pay for a Cruise that has now been Cancelled due to COVID-19 Operations Suspension through the Cruise with Confidence program?
This question is ONE of the question that, as a Travel Advisor, I receive the MOST!!!
Since we have entered into this Global Health Crisis, most of us have endured one or more Cruise Suspension Cycles and have collected a few Future Cruise Credit Certificates. The Royal Group explains the breakdown of how FCCs are utilized when they have had to further suspend sailings on voyages that were already secured with a FCC from a previously cancelled sailing!!!

A: If a Guest opted in for Cruise with Confidence, they will have TWO Future Cruise Credits — the original FCC and the Cruise with Confidence Credit. The original credit will be REINSTATED with the prior FCC amount, along with the original expiration date or April 30, 2022 — which date gives you the most time to use it. Guest will also receive a new FCC based on the remaining amount paid. This can be redeemed on any sailing departing on or before September 30, 2022
If a Guest sailing was cancelled as a part of our COVID-19 Operations Suspension, you will receive one Future Cruise Credit combining the TWO amounts. 100% of your FCC amount and 125% of any additional cruise fare funds paid on the booking. Guest new FCC will have an expiration date April 30, 2022, and it can be redeemed on any sailing embarking on or September 30, 2022
